Welcome to WCGDAWS

Welcome to the site.

This program has been whirling around in my head since around my 3rd week of crunching for World Community Grid™.   I discovered that the statistics provided weren't as detailed as I wanted. That was 2+ years ago.

Another new project

As RCC_Survivor pointed out in the forums, you'll need to change:
115>Computing for Sustainable Water>
to
115>Computing for Sustainable Water>CFSW
in ProjectsList.txt to get the acronym to display.

Thanks RCC_Survivor.

Version 1.2d

Version 1.2d includes fixes for color scheme changing and ctrl-c for copying records.
You can find it in the forums.

One more new project

The Say No to Schistosoma Project has been started.

After your first update you'll want to change this:

113>Say No to Schistosoma>

to this:

113>Say No to Schistosoma>SN2S

in ProjectsList.txt.

Version 1.2c Now Available

A new version has been posted that seems to, once and for all, fix the issue with European locales.

You can find it in the forums.

Another new project

With the launch of the new GO Fight Against Malaria project, you'll need to update the ProjectsList.txt file.

After your next update, change this:
114>GO Fight Against Malaria>
to this
114>GO Fight Against Malaria>GFAM

If you don't make the change, everything will still work, but you won't see the abbreviation when you group by project.

50K+ Valid Workunits

Not that anyone really cares, but I think it's a nice milestone.

I finally have a history of 50,000+ valid workunits stored.  That number turns out to be around 20% of my total valids, for all of my WCG crunching.

New project

As you are probably aware, the new Drug Search for Leishmaniasis project was recently launched.

In order for it to show up properly, you'll need to either add this:

112>Drug Search for Leishmaniasis>DSFL

to ProjectsList.txt before your next update or after updating, add the abbreviation to this line:

112>Drug Search for Leishmaniasis>DSFL

in ProjectsList.txt.

Version 1.2 now available

Based on several requests, I've added the option to view both averages and sums.

Here's the original layout, using averages:

New version 1.1d now available

I ran across a problem when I ran my latest update.  I ran into a CEP2 WU that resulted in 2,000+ points being granted.  Unfortunately, I hadn't anticipated ever seeing more than 999 points, so the string to floating pointing conversion choked on the comma.
Here's the offender:
